Every story has a beginning, even the most unexpected ones, such as ours. Modest Ionescu is a new moniker dreamed up by Alin Crihan in his endless pursuits of sonic expression. Crihan is no stranger to the minimal scene, having released on well established labels such as Sammy Dee's Ultrastretch as well as playing some of the most beloved clubs and festivals around the world, like Sunwaves, Robert Johnson, or The Block. For this new adventure, though, he's putting on a different mantel and, as we mentioned earlier, this is how it begins.
